Neel Road Baptist Church is a growing community of believers who gather weekly for worship, Bible Study, service, and prayer.
We are a 40 year old congregation that started as a mission outreach church to the people living in the western part of Rowan County. Today, more than ever, we are assured in our calling to share Christ’s love with others!
One of our goals at Neel Road is to be “a church for all generations!” We greatly value the wisdom and experience that older generations possess and we also realize the giftedness and enthusiasm that younger believers can share with the body of Christ!
We regularly offer opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, and outreach for our members. We are excited about what God is doing in us and through us at Neel Road! We hope you will come and see what we are all about!
What to Expect?
We know that there are many ways and styles of worshiping God. Our worship services incorporate both traditional and contemporary styles of music. You can wear a coat and tie or just come as you are and you’ll fit right in.
“God is Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
Expect a warm welcome from people of all ages. We sing praise songs and hymns led by a choir of over 30 active members. Sometimes we utilize visual aids such as projection and/or video clips to enhance the worship experience. Messages are biblically based and relevant to real life. Worship begins at 11 am and ends around noon. We currently have around 150 people in worship each Sunday…with plenty of room in our new sanctuary for you!
