We have a great group of senior adults at Neel Road. We recognize that for senior adults, one size does not fit all! Therefore, we try to provide opportunities that encourage seniors of all ages and interests to grow, fellowship and serve.
Sunday School is the primary opportunity for senior adults to learn, grow, and fellowship. One size does not fit all, so we have several different Sunday School classes for seniors. The Fun and Fellowship team and the Senior Pastor also provide special occasions such as trips, services, and fellowship meals for seniors to enjoy!
At Neel Road we recognize that the senior years represent a new and sometimes challenging phase of life. Each time we celebrate the Lord’s Supper in worship, we also take it to those who are not able to attend worship any longer. We also have a Homebound Ministry Team who checks in with our homebound members regularly. It may also be helpful to know that our may campus is mostly handicap accessible (no steps) making it easy to get around.
