Our goal at Neel Road is create a love and passion for Christ in the lives and hearts of our students. We want to see them experience who Jesus is and how much he cares for them. The latest statistics show that three out of four students graduating from high school do not continue attending church in college and beyond. This is a staggering revelation that the Church hasn’t been as effective at reaching teenagers as it wished it was. We refuse to accept this trend. Not only do we want to see teenagers enter college knowing who God is and how much he cares for them, but we want them to charge into this next stage of their lives prepared and knowing confidently how important obedience and devotion to our Creator can be. Our Student Ministry involves students from seventh grade thru twelfth grade. Our time together is spent in worship, Bible study, prayer and let’s not forget…fun!

Christian Atheist
The Christian Atheist: Believing in God but Living as if He Doesn’t Exist is a book by Craig Groeschel, Lead Pastor at LifeChurch in Oklahoma. In this six-week study, we will journey toward an authentic, God-honoring life. Become more than “Christian” in name through this eye-opening look into the ways we can surrender to God completely, living every day depending on the Holy Spirit. *On these nights, we will begin at 5p for games/recreation with dinner being served at 6p before our study at 6:30p. If you would, let me know if Matt and Will are planning to join us so that we can have enough food. Thanks. Otherwise, we meet at 6:30p coinciding with our adults and children.

NiteLife
NiteLife is our weekly meeting for students seventh through twelfth grade. Students arrive at church at 5p for games and activities until 6, when we join together for dinner (provided by parents and church members–sign up with Graham). We begin our time of worship and study at 6:30p. We dismiss each night at 7:30p as adults conclude their time together. This is an excellent and safe opportunity for students to bring their friends to church that is not at all threatening or pressuring. We discuss several topics relevant to their lives.

Meet Graham

Graham started as our
Student Pastor in 2008. He loves working with students
of all ages and teaching them what it means to follow Jesus. Graham can usually be found carrying a Mountain Dew, plugging something in, dancing in KIDventure...did I say "dancing?" I meant behaving respectfully...among other things.
