For many believers, studying the Book of Revelation seems like a daunting task…like trying to climb Mt. Everest! In truth, some people make it way more complicated than it actually is. Just consider the book’s name: “Revelation.” Revelation doesn’t mean hard to understand or mysterious. The Greek word, apokalupsis, means to show, to reveal or to explain.

Don’t get me wrong, the Book of Revelation does require careful and thoughtful study…and it deserves it! Stepping into the Book of Revelation is like watching Lord of the Rings or some other fantasy or science fiction movie…only it’s true! Angels, demons, bottomless pits, dragons and even sea monsters fill the pages! But the main character in Revelation is Jesus Christ.

Our study of Revelation will resume on Sunday, January 21. We will review Chapters One through Eight and then continue with Chapter Nine.
